Vision
I believe that my designs aim to change people’s behavior by giving them another perspective on the situation. I want to use my knowledge about
creative thinking and design processes. Through designing and implementing this in other environments, I want to engage people in the situation and
make them aware of the possibilities. I believe that this will result in people being more motivated and engaged with the activity.
To me design is about using creativity for problem solving. We live in a rapidly changing society. We need to become faster to keep up with the
changes within technology and society. As we speak, singularity is getting closer and we need to adapt to the situation and learn to live with the
development. By helping people to see the possibilities instead of overwhelming them with options, I want to create a way to understand and learn
to adapt to the changes.
At the moment, the life expectancy of fortune 500 companies is just 15 years. At least 40% of all companies will not survive in the coming 10
years. I believe that in order to survive we need to become faster, more flexible and create openness. I think this can be achieved when both
companies and people are more open to changes and start using creative thinking and methodologies like agile and scrum and co-creation. It is more
important to check whether your assumptions are right and whether your product will work, rather than focusing on putting the “perfect” product on
the market. In order to survive, we need to become pro-active and start working together.
